Hello All,
Excitement is in the air, over the phone lines and via internet.
I can tell we have some anxious folk who are looking forward to this reunion.
We have 30 rooms reserved for us. If we need more, we think they will be available.
June 1st registration from 3 pm to 4pm
We will have a conference/hospitality room
where we will be gathering from time to time. A final itinerary will be given in packet at
time of registration.
There will be a $10.00 registration fee per person. This is to cover conference room and
other expenses occurred by reunion. This is to be paid in CASH.
Will There Be Tee-Shirts? You Bet! Contact Dennis
Galt: Dennis is having T shirts made for all to
wear on Saturday, one for the ladies as well. Price is $9.00 each, and must be prepaid by May 15th.
Cash, check, or money order will work. Order them by size and male or female versions from
Dennis as soon as possible. Dennis says these are great looking shirts.
Some great minds designed the shirts and the shirts will be given out Friday evening.
Friday Evening: We’ll gather in hospitality after 4:00 for
"get acquainted time".
Yes all will have name tags. Supper is on your own.
Following supper, we’ll meet in hospitality room again. The Watsons will have a DVD of Spain
pictures for viewing, also bring any photo albums you wish to share.
We will also vote on a name for our group Friday evening.
Saturday: Breakfast on your own, complimentary hotel breakfast.
We have an exciting day planned. We trust all will enjoy what the Watsons and Slones have planned.
Morning: We depart from hotel at 10:00 A.M. on tour buses (trolleys on wheels) a tour of
historical
Savannah will begin at 10:30 to 12:00.
At noon: We will be dropped off at the water front,
(lunch on your own) to find numerous shops and restaurants for your pleasure.
After lunch: From 2:00 to 3:00 you will enjoy a narrated sightseeing River Boat Cruise.
You will be transported back to hotel between 3:30 to 4:00.
Time for rest and relaxation and hospitality room will be open.
For Supper: Dress is causal dressy. Example: Sport coat with shirt
and slacks for men. No tie. You will enjoy Legendary Southern Cuisine, by the Famous
Paula Deen at the Lady & Son’s Restaurant. This is sure to be a delightful treat;
the price of your dinner is $24.37 includes buffet, refillable non-alcoholic beverage,
gratuity & tax. (Alcoholic beverages & coffee additional to inclusive prices.)
No individual checks, so we must pay as a group, so here’s how
this will be taken care of…
As mentioned earlier, at registration: you will need to have $10.00 cash for registration
fee per person. Also, have a check made out to Nona Watson in amount of $32.00 per person
for the tour, and for your meal at Lady & Sons. I will be paying one lump sum cash for the group,
so have $24.37 per person in cash for me, Janicegail Slone.
The restaurant will not accept personal checks so that is why I have to do it this way.
If we have money up front, Nona will not have to be collecting as you board the buses
and I won’t have to go from person to person at tables collecting money,
with large groups due to high volume of numbers can’t do individual checks.
So Nona and I felt this was the simplest way to handle it. We’ll collect monies at registration.

We are assuming that those attending will be participating in Saturday's function;
however we will need a final count for tour NLT April 27th.
Unless we hear different from you, we will count you as attending,
if not, please let me know before April 27th. And, if you have not confirmed with me that you are attending please do so.
Also, if you have not sent me a bio of life since Spain, please do that as well.
An Air Force Museum is near by and Sunday morning after checkout might be a good time for anyone wishing to visit there.
